Abbreviated Experience:
Five years of policing and work in a Juvenile Detention Center with training in defensive tactics, communication and conflict resolution
Recipient of Commendations for Merit, Commendations for Outstanding Enforcement, Unit Citations and Crisis Intervention Officer of the Year, 2019 and General Commendation Award from the American Police Hall of Fame, 2018
Among many incidents, in 2017, I survived the most significant physical fight of my life. The incident was 8.5 minutes of a deadly force, during which my head was slammed into the concrete over 4 times.
This fight led to the most significant mental fight of my life, which gave way to my passion to understanding self defense from the inside out.
